Field Sales Specialist

 

  • TERRITORY MANAGEMENT 

    • Greater than 90% field time calling on accounts in his or her territory to take orders and make sales 

    • Continuously assess geographic territory to define opportunity 
    • Professional conduct during all business interactions 
and dresses appropriately during both day and night business 

    •  
As a result of interactions, customers and consumers want to be associated with the SV brand 

  • POS (POINT OF SALE MATERIALS) 

    • 
Ensures that the proper POS items are staged in the right accounts 
    • 
Ensures all SV POS is clean and in proper working order 

    • Carries appropriate POS tools and replacements in vehicle at all times 

    • Fills, rotates and faces all SV products during every visit to maximize sales 

  • BUSINESS BUILDING INITIATIVES 

    • Targets and opens new accounts 

    • Analyzes territory and account specific business to clearly understand key business drivers 

    • 
Utilizes tools and tactics to drive consumer awareness and growth 
    • 
Convinces key decision maker to implement strategies and tactics to drive volume/consumer awareness
    • 
Routinely performs Staff Education to ensure brand understanding and encourage optimum pricing 

    • Proactively shares examples to demonstrate key points of difference to competition 

  • EVENT ACTIVATION 

    • Ensures branding and availability around third party events that take place inside the territory
    • 
Proactively searches for creative elements to add to supported events that drive SV's brand image 

  • RELATIONSHIP BUILDING ACTIVITIES 

    • Routinely engages in activities to build relationships with key influencers in top accounts in territory 
    • 
Develops relative industry relationships (djs, promoters, endemic magazines, etc.) that results in business building initiatives 
    • 
Develops and implements incentives and staff activities for key customers 

  • GENERAL 

    • Effective communication with manager, team, customers, and distributors 

    • Works as part of the team to ensure execution against key events/activities sometimes outside everyday responsibilities

EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Outstanding local market knowledge, contacts and experience in "the scene"
  • Preferred: 2+ years experience in a sales position with a strong track record of success
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
